bq. You see Alex, sitting in front of his computer with blood-shot eyes.
"Must... level... up."
The computer screen shows Alex's character on Maple Story, jekkiery, killing blue horned mushrooms. A spittle of drool slowly makes its way down Alex's face, but Alex doesn't seem to care.
"Must... kill... mushrooms."
Alex's parents watch in horror, as they watch their son slowly turn into an online gaming addict.
"Honey, we think you need help. There's a very nice Gamers Anonymous meeting coming up... and we think you should go." ^exaggerated^

My friend
Elly recently got me addicted to Maple Story again. Maple Story is a side-scrolling MMORPG that consists of cute characters and cute monsters. The whole game overall is very cute.
The one bad thing about playing Maple Story again is that I can't play it on my MacBook, since Wizet has yet to come out with a Mac version of the game.
So, if you play, and are on the channel Bera, feel free to talk to me. My character's name is jekkiery.
I made this blog post, because I've come to the realization that real friends are becoming an extinct species. Real friends could be the most unlikely person -- the school nerd, the class clown, or possibly, even your nemesis. The 'other' friends are people who are always there when you don't need them and never there when you actually need them.
In my opinion, real friends are people who:
* Are willing to take a bullet for you.
* Wont judge you, no matter how many mistakes you make.
* Will comfort you in times of need.
* Don't forget you after a week.
* Want to be your friend _just because_.
* You can call in the middle of the night and _talk_.
* Will stick up for you.
* Aren't afraid to be around you in public.
If I were to use the rubric against my friends, I would say that I only have two real friends. The rest are friends who will:
* Not like you unless you act a certain way.
* Spread rumours behind your back.
* Insult you, and not apologize.
* Ditch you _just because_.
So now I ask you: *How many real friends do you have?*
My grandma is getting older and older each day, and she's having trouble taking care of herself as well as my grandpa. It pains me to see two wonderful people suffering because there's no one to take care of them. If my family had the money, we'd send them to a
Brooklyn nursing homes, but money doesn't grow on trees anymore.
