Real Friends

I made this blog post, because I've come to the realization that real friends are becoming an extinct species. Real friends could be the most unlikely person -- the school nerd, the class clown, or possibly, even your nemesis. The 'other' friends are people who are always there when you don't need them and never there when you actually need them. In my opinion, real friends are people who: * Are willing to take a bullet for you. * Wont judge you, no matter how many mistakes you make. * Will comfort you in times of need. * Don't forget you after a week. * Want to be your friend _just because_. * You can call in the middle of the night and _talk_. * Will stick up for you. * Aren't afraid to be around you in public. If I were to use the rubric against my friends, I would say that I only have two real friends. The rest are friends who will: * Not like you unless you act a certain way. * Spread rumours behind your back. * Insult you, and not apologize. * Ditch you _just because_. So now I ask you: *How many real friends do you have?* My grandma is getting older and older each day, and she's having trouble taking care of herself as well as my grandpa. It pains me to see two wonderful people suffering because there's no one to take care of them. If my family had the money, we'd send them to a Brooklyn nursing homes, but money doesn't grow on trees anymore.

Top 5 List of Scary Movies

Austin suggested I make a list of scary movies so here it is. 1. The Descent - By far the scariest movie I have ever watched. The plot consists of a group of friends who go spelunking in an unexplored cave. There, they find an unknown humanoid species, which is attracted the scent of human flesh. One by one, they are slowly picked off by them. The movie also includes plentiful amounts of betrayal, murder, and romance. 2. Silent Hill - The plot for this movie is what makes me like it so much. It talks about a little girl who keeps having dreams about a place called Silent Hill. The mother is worried, so she takes her to Silent Hill, hoping for find some sort of redemption for her adopted daughter. When they reach the deserted town, they find out that the town had a dark and mysterious past. This movie is filled with gruesome monsters and scenes that will make you want to puke. 3. Office Yauh Gwai - Office Yauh Gwai is a foreign Chinese film which talks about a haunted office building that's haunted by ghosts. The workers have no idea that it's haunted, until people start committing suicide. Slowly, the ghosts reveal themselves, and the workers are being picked off one by one. Do not watch alone. It also has English subtitles. 4. Stay Alive - The movie's plot was interesting so that's why I picked this movie for the list. The plot talks about a group of friends who start playing an underground video game called Stay Alive. They slowly find out that when their character dies in the game, their real life counterpart dies as well. The only way to survive the game, is to beat it, and to do that, they have to kill the Blood Countess. Based on the story of Elizabeth Bathory. 5. Pulse - This story is an eerily possible one. It talks about how the dead are trying to come back to the real world by accessing wi-fi hot spots. After I watched it, I never felt the same way about cell phones again. The unrated version is by far better then the version shown in the theaters since they had to cut out a lot of the scenes to make it a PG-13 movie. Remember, unrated is always better. Have you ever noticed that Angelina Jolie's lips are abnormally large? I was thinking, she may have had some work done. Maybe, if she was living in Chicago, she would have visited Chicago lip augmentation. Man, I would fall for any girl who looks like Angelina Jolie. I mean, she even got Brad Pitt to fall for her. That reminds me, I have to go drool over her pictures now.
