Mozes Inc.

No, I'm not just advertising the company my dad works at, but I'm advertising it because I believe that Mozes has a lot of potential. Well, I don't think they would get many hits from my blog, but it's worth a try. Basically, Mozes is a sort of social networking website where you can communicate with your favorite artists through text message. You can receive updates from your favorite singer and even get exclusive content! If you're a fan, then you can simply just sign up with your cell phone number, and you can also sign Mozes Inc. logoup if you're a band leader, or a student leader. I find the student leader section of the website pretty nifty because it's an easy way to send updates to your fellow peers if you're running a club or something like that. You can also even run an election through text message! For example, if your school was having a student body president election, you could vote for your favorite candidate through text message (standard carrier rates still apply). Mozes has also 'signed' some pretty 'hot' bands/singers such as Rihanna, Tim McGraw, Fall Out Boy, Amy Winehouse, Chamillionare, Saving Jane... the list goes on and on. Thundered's color scheme was also inspired by Mozes. Also, if you do sign up, what do you think that they could add or improve on? P.S. - As of 8:10PM there was an earthquake where I live. My entire house was shaking and all I worried about was the safety of my laptop. Turns out it was a 5.6 earthquake. The epicenter was somewhere in the South Bay of the Bay Area in California.

Textpattern

I have successfully converted my website to Textpattern, just because I believe it's a better CMS. Wordpress VS Textpattern? It actually took me a while to figure out how to use the 'dashboard' but after I few tries, I finally got the hang of it. Of course, this isn't my first try to convert Textpattern. I've tried valiantly over the past months, but today, I was determined to make the change, and I'm very satisfied with the result. The nice thing about Textpattern is that your whole layout, CSS, and other layout files are edited from the dashboard, so there's no need for FTP. Layout making is also easy with Textpattern. No need to reupload all those files, like you have to do in Wordpress. You know, like archive.php, page.php, single.php, index.php, etc. Textpattern is just... perfect. Textpattern FTW (for the win)! _PS: You can now access Thundered from thundered.org and thundered.info._
