Thundered

Ramblings of a Teenage Boy.

The first signs of spring

Today, it was sunny and mildly warm. I actually was able to go outside in a t-shirt and shorts without getting extremely cold. California is not really used to cold weather, so even though it was only 45 degrees fahrenheit at the coldest, to me, it felt like I was in Antarctica. I'm not very tolerant of cold weather, so if I moved somewhere like... Canada, I'd probably die once I got off the plane. This whole week has been pretty warm compared to the previous ones. I'm so glad that I'll finally be able to play piano without having cold fingers, or go outside and not have to wear two sweaters. Isn't California supposed to be warm? My family should have moved to Florida instead. Going against contrary belief, California is not always warm. Our winters are pretty cold (well to me they are). They range from 35 to 45 degrees fahrenheit. Since I'm from the United States, I won't bother to change that into celsius for the rest of the world. The weather was so nice today, I was able to walk around my neighborhood and just enjoy the breeze in my face, without the fear of having my ears amputated. At school, we're starting soccer in our physical education unit, so I'm glad that it stopped raining, or else we'd have to play soccer in the mud. I also have this bad 'habit' of hurting my P.E. teacher. When we were doing golf, I hit him in the head with a dirt clod; when we were playing rugby, I accidentally kicked the ball into his stomach. I'm imagining that during soccer, I might hit him in the back or somewhere... undesirable for men. So, what's the weather like for you?
