I don't believe suicide is a justifiable way of leaving this world. Teenagers nowadays complain about how, 'They have no will to live' or 'they just want it to end'. Your mom went through 9-months of pain for you, and this is how you repay her?
If your life is hard, what good is ending it? People think that there's a heaven, but what if there isn't? That means that you'll have wasted your life for nothing. Even if there was a heaven, according to most major religions, taking your own life is a sin and will cause you to go to Hell. If you're going through a rough patch in your life, wouldn't it feel better to overcome the obstacle then to end it all?
People commit suicide for the strangest of reasons. Oh sure, your junior high boyfriend broke up with you, so you kill yourself? That makes perfect sense. To me, the right thing to do, would be to improve your life, and make him feel ashamed that he broke up with you. My logic seems to make more sense.
People who commit suicide are inconsiderate of the people around them. Once you're dead, what do you think your parents will feel? How about your friends? I know first hand, about how it feels when someone you care about has tried/or has committed suicide -- and it's not a good feeling. I felt hurt, because back then, I thought my brother tried to commit suicide because I didn't love him enough. When I heard the news, I felt this hollowness in my stomach and I cried until I couldn't cry anymore. Why would you want to expose someone to feelings like that? I am an example of what happens after a traumatic event like this. I haven't cried at all in three years, and I don't really feel sad about anything anymore because nothing can compare to what I went through.
I don't believe suicide is a good way of vindicating yourselves from the troubles in the world. Everyone goes through problems in their lives, and it's just something that you have to deal with it. What are your thoughts and opinions on suicide?
