School, a look ahead

Tomorrow is the first day of school after Spring Break. Am I dreading it? No. I'm actually a little excited, because I'll get to see my friends that I haven't seen in a week, and I'll be days closer to the annual band trip to Disney Land! It is... two weeks and 4 days from today. After a week of break, I'm reading to get back into the loop again. Oh, how I've missed homework. Sure, I was assigned homework over Spring Break, but I don't know. It's a hard feeling to explain. I've become accustomed to going to school everyday, and it's become something that I look forward to. I mean, sure, sometimes the homework load is immense, but at least you know all your peers are suffering with you as well. What I love even more is when I encounter a teacher that makes me really excited about the subject we're covering; that hasn't happened this year, but I'm hoping it'll happen when I get into high school. Looking ahead to high school, I'm envisioning... more variety in people to pursue romantically. I'm just kidding... kind-of. I mean, in junior high, you pretty much know all the people, but in high school... endless possibilities! *drools* Moving along to less awkward topics. In high school, there are so many more clubs to join! At my junior high, we have Game Club, Christian Club (which happens to be run by a teacher, which also happens to be against the school education code, I believe), and I think that's it. In high school, there are things like Ski Club! :) Did I mention that my high school also has a newspaper? Sure, I can't apply for it until my second year in high school, but it's always something to look forward to. I'm also looking forward to my electives -- Band and Drama. I love music, and I love acting. What more can I say? I'll probably be spending a lot of time after school, doing drama-related things, but it's going to be fun. So, do you look forward to the next level of education, whether it be high school or college? If you've already graduated from the highest level of education, what does it feel like? I've always been curious...
