Thundered

Ramblings of a Teenage Boy.

Life is cruel and unusual at times

Well, today, I was innocently shopping at the mall, and I come across an awesome pair of shoes -- Black Converses (best shoes ever). I thought I had bought them for a good price, but I was wrong. I didn't buy them at the actual Converse store at my mall (I didn't know they had one!) and when I came across that store, my jaw dropped when I saw, "$14.99 blowout sale on selected styles!" And what do you know, the shoes I bought were $14.99 at the actual Converse store. Converse #1 I would have returned the shoes I bought and bought the ones at the Converse store... but the store that I bought them from had a no-refund policy -- so basically, I could have saved $25 (I bought the shoes for $40 originally). Imagine how many other shirts I could have bought... or how many kids in Africa I could have saved  ! Converse #2 I have now come to the conclusion that life is sometimes a violation of the 8th Amendment in the United States Bill of Rights which states that cruel and unusual punishment is forbidden. What have I done to deserve this? Anyways, I would have posted a picture of me actually wearing the shoes, but I didn't want my website to attract strange people with foot fetishes. Note to self: Next time when you go shopping, make sure you check out all the stores to find the cheapest price.
