How I Spent New Years Eve

Well, unfortunately, if you were hoping to read some fascinating tale of how I partied all night, you'll be disappointed. This New Years, instead of having a party like we originally planned to, we stayed home instead. A lot of the families that were going to take a part in the party suddenly became ill, so we had to cancel the party.... how unfortunate. *sarcasm* Instead of partying on the last day of 2007, I was instead stuck at home, doing English homework while chatting with friends. On the bright side, I finished an essay, and got it peer edited by one of my friends whom I was talking to. This year, I finally got some peace and quiet on New Years, instead of the usual ruckus that's usually going on at my house this time of the year; I would say that this New Years was the best that I've celebrated. When it was 11:59 PM (Pacific Time Zone), I immediately jumped out of my chair and ran to my parents room. I was staring intently at the clock next to my parents' bed and waiting for 12 AM to come. My parents must have thought I was demented because I was jumping up and down like a maniac while watching the clock. Once the last minute of 2007 slipped past, I let out a milk-curdling scream and ran around the house like a lunatic. And thus, another year has flown by. How did your family celebrate New Years?
