Health goals for April

I decided on April 1st that I was going to do something different with my lifestyle the month of April. What brought on this epiphany? I guess my brother preaching about health all the time got to me... finally. What have I decided to do, you ask? I've decided to run a lap around the local lake everyday. That's about... two miles everyday. I plan to lose all the excess fat that I've gained from all the cheeseburgers and also lose the baby fat here and there. In addition to the running, I've also sworn off all junk foods -- including chips, cakes, etcetera (as of yesterday). My mom was lecturing me about how I'm already a few pounds underweight, but maybe I'll gain... muscle mass? XD Oh, and the biggest change of all? In the month of April, I'm going to try a vegetarian lifestyle. If I like it, I suppose I'll just stick to being vegetarian for as long as I can after that. I was thinking about it the other day, and for example... when you're eating a chicken, you're like, 'forking' the chicken. How would you feel is someone stuck a fork in you? I've never been much of a meat-eater in the first place, so this won't be that hard. What will be hard, is to ignore my friends waving bacon in front of my face. Bacon is one of my vices. Frown The thing that's going to be hard about living a vegetarian lifestyle is that I'll have to find other sources for protein, and the other things that you get from meat that you can't get from your vegetables. I'll just take some pills for iron, and I'm still trying to figure out where to get the protein and such. Any ideas? It's going to be hard to stay on course, but I'm going to try. The one thing that I'm worried about is the annual band trip to Disney Land. My friends are going to be waving candy and meat under my noses and I'm going to be tempted... So, do you have any health goals for April?
