By the time you read this, I will either be on my way down to San Diego, or already there, basking in the Southern
California sun. I'll be down there for about four days, living in my brother's old apartment which he accidentally extended the lease on (long story). I'm not sure if I'll be able to check my email down there (I'm bringing my MacBook with me), but if you wanted to contact me, that would be your best bet.
The car ride down there is going to be brutal. It's going to be hot, boring, and unlike most car rides, the scenery isn't going to be very scenic. The highway you have to take down to San Diego crosses through this type of farming land where all you see is a desert-like area on one side and farms on the other. Not very entertaining. On the bright side, as a cure to my boredom, I'll bring a portable DVD player and watch
Huo Yuan Jia (the Wiki page links to the actual guy, but I'm watching the television series) and some movies that I rented from Blockbuster. Either that, or I'm going to sleep all the way down. If Verizon has reception, I'll be texting Twitter as well, for lack of anything better to do.
Basically, once we get to SD, the plan is to lounge around on the beach, go to
SeaWorld, go to the
zoo, and did I mention that I was going to lounge around on the beach?
However, if I can access the internet down there, then I'll probably post blog entries, so this post will be of no relevance. I'm hoping that I don't come back looking like a potato that's been in the oven too long... You never know! XD Happy July 4th to all the Americans!
