Ramblings of a Teenage Boy.

Who would you bring back to life?

If I had the power to bring back someone from the dead, I would probably bring back Martin Luther King Jr. He was one of the most important civil rights figure in the history of the United States and probably without him, the United States would still be segregated. Dr. King was a powerful public speaker, and helped millions of people to join the equal rights protest. If I were to bring back a singer, I'd bring back Luther Vandross. When I was a little kid, I used to love listening to Luther's albums. They always seemed to calm me down. My favorite song from him would have to be Dance With My Father. His voice was just so smooth, like velvet that it had a trance-like characteristic when you listened to one of his songs. His music, even today, is a breath of fresh air, amongst all the guitar-powered rock and rap music nowadays. If I were to bring back a writer, I would bring back John Steinback. His writing is just so raw, but it's also refined at the same time. He wrote about things that most people wouldn't find interesting, but then he made it interesting somehow! An example of this is the short book The Red Pony which I just finished reading. Though it's only 100 pages, it really touches your heart. So, if you had the power to bring someone back to life, who would it be?

Dimebag Darrell from the metal bands Pantera and Damageplan. He might not have had the same impact on the world as any of the people you’ve mentioned, but as a metal fan, he’s a legend.
