Things You Don’t See Because of School

Ever wonder what you don’t see when you’re off at school? I was amazed at all the different things that I saw today when I was lounging around at home because of Veteran’s Day. I saw…

  • The garbage truck
  • The street cleaner
  • Adults jogging around my neighborhood before they go off to work
  • Winnie the Pooh on Disney Channel Catfish
  • The lunchtime news broadcast!
  • Various talk shows that I hadn’t even heard of until today
  • Full House reruns

There a lot of other things that I’ve forgotten, but that was the most of it.

What other things do you think happen when you’re gone?  GASP

What’s Veteran’s Day? Does it have anything to do with Remembrance Day?

And, how early were you up to actually see the garbage truck (zomg!). I remember when I was four or five I used to wake Mum up every morning because I was so excited about the big truck with the robotic arm thing emptying our rubbish.

    Kim Possible ftw.

I don’t think anything happens besides a few television shows passing me by, but I think more stuff would happen if I weren’t gone :)

I’ve stayed home tons of times before, and I don’t really see anything special. Usually I’m just glued to my computer screen :P

You get Veteran’s Day off? Lucky you! Here it’s Remembrance Day, but it’s the same thing and we have to go to school. :P
