School crushes
Dear School Crush, Well, I coughed on you today. It seems like everyone at school is sick, and I'm just another person to add to your 'Avoid' list. I don't think you like me the way I like you, but on the bright side, my germs are inside of you, attacking your immune system as you read this. Slowly, but surely, you'll become another one of the infected, just like me! Then we'll have even more in common! You see? This was a match made in heaven.
When you come to school on Monday coughing and sneezing, you can thank my bacteria for that! I'll kindly give you one of my candy-like cough drops and we'll fall in love and ditch school to go chase geese around the lake. Since the common cold has no definite cure, why not spend those few days of miserableness together? I'll bring the crackers and you can bring seeds so we can feed the geese (even though we're not supposed to).
Hey, you may be sick, but at least it's my germs attacking your immune system instead of those of that... strange kid who picks his nose and eats his boogers. Now, that would be disgusting. :roll: So, now, I leave you to remember me, and enjoy the bacteria I gave you.

lmao. Great post. It reminded me of the poem The Flea by John Donne - look it up if you have the time. To quickly sum it up it’s about a guy trying to seduce a woman. He proposes that the same flea has bitten them both and thus combined their blood in a way that has joined them together as one. Therefore they’ve technically been wed and just need to consummate that union. Hmmm, maybe not?
