Rain, rain, and more rain!

It's been raining almost nonstop for two days. It's quite depressing to have to wake up and see gloomy skies. However, when you go outside, the air seems a lot more "fresh" and if there's a break in the clouds, the sky looks extremely blue. Ever since I was a kid, I've always liked the rain. I like watching it from my bedroom window, but I hate actually going out into the rain and getting myself wet. There's nothing better than curling up on your couch with a good book and listening to your iPod when it's raining! My music pick for a rainy day would probably have to be anything sung by Sarah McLachlan. Rain Rain to me, signifies a new beginning. After a winter storm, everything seems to be a lot more new, compared to how it was before. Rain washes away the haziness in the air, and it makes it crisp again. Rain also gives life to everything; plants, animals, etc. However, the area surrounding my house also has been destroyed by the rain. The bamboo plant that was in a container outside of my house has been knocked over, and my dad and I are too lazy to pick it up. In our backyard, one of our tree's branches snapped and most of its leaves are gone. So, what do you think of rain? :wink:

    dang, Kire beat me. Dude i hate the black outs. We couldn’t do anything inside, so my dad made me go fix my bike… But rain is so much of fun. I love getting wet.

    Aw man, Kire-buddy and Juan-buddy both beat me Frown, anyways, to Hannah: I want snow here in Fremont instead so I can ski down the streets :D, and rain is awesome-o, including getting wet you wimp :P. Oh and those skies aren’t gloomy Frown

    But i sometimes like rain especially when a hot choco and soup is there.
