My New Phone: LG Voyager
After spending three months using my large, clunky, and outdated backup phone, I have finally upgraded to the LG Voyager. It’s sleek, shiny, and it has a touch screen; it can go into my touchscreen collection along with my camera. It’s an amazing phone to upgrade to, and it reminds me a lot of the iPhone, except it has an internal QWERTY keyboard. Lightning fast texts, here I come!
I was eating lunch when I saw the Fed-Ex truck stop next to the house. I dashed out the door and greeted the mailman before he even made it to the mailbox. Once I got the package, I ripped that sucker open and savored the beauty that was the Voyager. There was one downside though: my dad wasn’t at home to help me activate my phone (I needed the password). After I got the phone, I realized that I had marching band camp in thirty minutes, so that ruled out any possibility of activating my phone before marching band camp.
So I left for marching band camp, where I sweated, sweated, and sweated some more in the heat and marched around aimlessly. Like usual, I almost crashed into someone when marching backwards when I wasn’t supposed to. It’s not my fault that I’m unusually clumsy (I blame the genes, like always). Anyways. The Voyager was in the back of my mind during marching band camp because I was so unbelievably irritated at the drum majors and their sadistic efforts to make my life miserable (but they’re cool). So, once band camp ended, all I wanted to do was go home and take a cold shower—which I did—but then I was reminded that I had a shiny new phone sitting on my desk.
When I got home, the first thing I asked was “Dad, can you activate my phone?“ Don’t worry, I said hi to him after. So, here is my new phone (which has a keyboard and a touchscreen).
I used way too many parentheses in this entry. If you were wondering about my church retreat… I’ll blog about that later.

I’m majorly jealous. This is my phone; as you can imagine, I’ve had for a while. My contract doesn’t even run out for another year, so I’m pretty much stuck with the ugliest phone ever. :P

Yes, I was wondering about your church retreat.
I like your headphones. (I might have mentioned that before.)
