Expressing Emotions
Around here, the guys have a tough time expressing their emotions, including me. Something about telling someone how you feel kind of scares a person. This doesn't only apply to "crush" situations thing. It may also apply when you're feeling sad, but you don't want to tell anyone about it. That's the reason I blog -- to express my emotions. Without my blog, I'd be a teenager on the verge of exploding. I mean, every time I got mad, I would probably turn into the Hulk. Another reason that a lot of guys don't 'spill the beans' are because the girls here are vicious-rumor-spreading-Mean Girls-watching addicts. They love all the drama for some reason. I blame Laguna Beach. Let's say Tom tells Benjamin that he's feeling sad. Then, Katie overhears their conversation and starts telling everyone that he's suicidal. Girls like Katie make it a lot harder to express your emotions. Apart from the emotion-less boys at our school, there are also girls who are too full of emotion. Every time someone says something mean to them (even sarcastically), they burst out into tears and run away. I've had my fair share of these types of girls, and I've learned to stay away from them, but for those people who still have what I like to call GWEP (Girls With Emotion Problems), just walk away. Some are probably just doing it to get attention, and once they realize that it's not going to work, they'll stop doing it. In my opinion, I'd rather keep my emotions locked inside, then have people spreading them around the school. !/images/28.gif!This entry was posted on August 13, 2007 at 05:56 PM and is filed under Personal,.
