Eighth Grade
As some of you may know, I had my first day of the eighth grade on September 5th. My school had an abundance of new students, so on the first day of school, they had to pass out new schedules to everyone. Good thing, mine didn't change, but I feel sorry for the people who have to relearn where all their classes are.
Being an eighth grader makes me a 'top dog' at school. I can now look down at the seventh graders and sneer, but of course, I wouldn't do that. Unfortunately, most of the seventh graders are the same height as me. The dividing line between the eighth graders and seventh graders grows even more invisible since the seventh graders are following the trends and dressing like eighth graders as well.
The homework load isn't that bad. I can usually complete my homework assignments in about three hours, but on the first day of school, I'm ashamed to say that I spent two hours on my science homework. Needless to say, science is not my best subject.
Contrary to prior belief, none of my teachers breathe fire (my science teacher scares me though). They are all very good at what they do and they make me feel comfortable learning, unlike last year.
Other then those points, I really have nothing else to say about school or my life. Nothing is happening lately (as you can tell from the lack of blogs). Sometimes, I wish that a meteor would fall from the sky and we would all become radioactive and have super powers... a guy can dream can't he?
