An early birthday present
So, as you may know (well, you better know ;) ), my birthday is on July 3. Last night, one of my friends dropped off an early birthday present because he was leaving for camp. Unfortunately, I wasn't home so I couldn't thank him for the present, but when I came home, I found a large white box at my doorstep. When I picked it up, my jaw dropped because it felt empty. "Oh... he got me an empty box..." *shakes the box* "WAIT, THERE'S SOMETHING IN HERE!"
I was going to rip the box open to see what he had given me, but then I saw a little blue sticky note which said, "Do not open this until 7/3."
"NOOOOOOOO. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO WAIT UNTIL MY BIRTHDAY?"
Way to go Juan, irritating me even when you're expressing your friendship. ;) I can just see his smug smile in my mind... *strangle* Maybe if I act like I never saw the sticky note...
So, what do you do with presents that you can't open until later?

Oooh, so tempting.
If it were me, I’d just open it.

Oh man, that’s not very nice of him to make you wait! :P
I’m a pretty patient person, so I would be able to wait just a few more days.

Did you take these pictures with a cell phone?
D<
If you did, shame on you.
If you didn’t, learn to use macro for the second pic.
:D
I feel absolutely mean today. I just burned a cake and am not feeling particularly happy.
And now this post reminds me that I have to get you something for your birthday.

That’s so cute. Your friend left a box on your doorstep. If you did that where I used to live, someone would have stolen it.
The mystery simply eats you up inside, doesn’t it?
Wait until your birthday. It makes it all the more exciting. ;) (But you hate surprises, don’t you? Don’t open it anyway.)

Hey look, formatting tools.

Woah! Go July people! I would rip that thing open, I wouldn’t care if it had that note. xD .. kidding, I would wait and die from wondering what it is.
Oh, and tell your mom happy birthday!

My (extended) family always holds out on me - that is, they send me my presents and tell me to wait. I actually enjoy leaving it till my birthday, because on the day it makes the present opening go that much longer :)
