Thundered

Ramblings of a Teenage Boy.

1, 2, 3, WINDOWS!

Yes, you read that title correctly. I have installed the Windows XP operating system onto my MacBook through Bootcamp. It actually runs pretty quickly on my MacBook and I'm glad to finally be able to use the Adobe CS3 that my brother bought for me during Christmas of last year. I was afraid that I was going to have to re-buy all of my software, but hurray for Bootcamp! Now, I can use Microsoft Office to do my homework, as well as using a legal version of Photoshop to do photo editing -- I was using an illegal version of Photoshop CS for Mac... I felt bad. It feels so awkward being on Windows again. I like the way that the Mac OS renders text compared to the way Windows does. Well, that concludes this short blog post about the joy of being back on Windows, no matter how strange that may sound, it's true. I'm off to go install my programs now!

Yet another blog, Alex… Anyway, have fun with installing programs and such; Microsoft Office really isn’t that good, Use a Notepad instead, or never EVER use Vista. It really sucks. x[

I can’t believe you switched back to Microsoft. And here I’m dying to switch to a Mac. -_-

Whoo, Microsoft! I think I may have an unfair impression of Macs, seeing as the only ones I actually see in action are really ooold versions at school.

Yeah! Windows! I don’t think I’ll ever get used to Macs. I didn’t even know what a Mac was before Year 7. I went to school and being the spiffy school my school is, they had all these Macs and I was all “what the heck?“. Windows XP for the win.

But the Mac laptops are more compact and fast :). So this Bootcamp thing is like… salvation.

BACK TO WINDOWS?!  Alex!  Whatever happened to your fanboy-ing? XP I suppose one can appeal to Mac and Windows :)

May you have fun with your newly founded software.  I love that feeling of installing new software.  It’s like… buying new shoes, or something.

Ever since I got my MacBook Pro a year and a half ago, Windows always seems so harsh and ugly to me—particularly in the way it renders text. I viewed my site on my brother’s Dell laptop a few weeks ago to fix an IE 6 problem and my eyeballs recoiled in my head at how harsh the text on my site looked. It works the way it was designed to, but it just looks so…wrong.
