Thundered

Ramblings of a Teenage Boy.

April Fool's Day

Well, I was going to blog about how my name is actually Jordan and I live in Antarctica, but I suppose my readers are too smart to believe anything like that. I could have blogged about how I'm actually Caucasian, but I just dyed my hair black, but that would be too... unbelievable. So, I give up. I'm really bad at coming up with online pranks! Therefore, I'm just going to write about what happened to me today. I woke up today with every intention in pranking my friends somehow. I was originally going to tell people that I was going to move to Australia and live with the kangaroos (just kidding ;) ), but then no one would believe me. My friends are pretty smart; I should give them more credit! I was going to bring food coloring to school and give my friend a bottle of yellow water, but my mom didn't see the point in going out to buy food coloring. I'm pretty bad at coming up with pranks in general. At lunch, I was just standing there innocently. I noticed these people huddled in a circle, and I went to investigate what they were all whispering about. Standing on my tiptoes, I saw that it was a sponge covered with frosting. A girl saw me looking at the sponge, and all of them turned around and gave me a really peculiar look. I didn't even realize what they were going to do until they started walking toward me with the sponge. At first, they just took a finger and painted my face with frosting. Then, they did a recoil and came at me with the sponge. I turned my body and they got frosting on the sleeve of my sweater. The frosting was good though! I found myself taking my finger, getting frosting on it, and licking the frosting off my fingers. My friends all found this hilarious, but then one of my friends ran their finger against my sweater, getting the frosting, and he said the frosting tasted good. This caused everyone else to crowd around me, trying to get frosting off me. XD In the end, I had to go to the washroom and rinse my sweater sleeve. Good thing it was a warm day, or else I would be freezing without my sweater. After fifth period, I decided to prank the girl that "pied" me. I went up to her, and started scratching my arm. "EMIGAWD, WHAT IS IN THIS FROSTING? I THINK I'M ALLERGIC!" "OMG, I'M SO SORRRRYY!" I waited for a few seconds before I started laughing maniacally. "HAHA, APRIL FOOLS!" "EMIGAWD!" I looked at her warily, and all of a sudden, she came charging at me with a perfume bottle and sprayed me with it. So, I went to English class with my left arm smelling like frosting and my right arm smelling like flowers. What I've learned from this experience...
  • Never stand around a group of giggling girls holding a sponge covered in frosting.
  • Don't turn your head when someone is trying to pie you... or in this case, sponge you. It would be easier to wash your face than to wash your sleeve.
  • ... don't trust giggling girls holding a sponge covered in frosting.
  • If you get frosting on yourself, don't let other people lick it off you in case one of your friends has some sort of fetish dealing with boys covered in frosting.
  • Come to school with an extra change of clothes on April Fool's Day... just in case.
Oh, and to make it even more humiliating, I almost fell into a trash can again. I was walking backwards, away from a person, and I didn't notice the trash can behind me. I hate April Fool's day.
