Apophis

Well, the asteroid Apophis is en route to Earth -- with a 1 in 45,000 chance of hitting our planet. It's scheduled to make it's near-earth pass in 2029, which lead me to ponder; if I only had twenty-one more years to live, what would I do? Apophis Twenty-one years is a long time to live, so I'd probably just waste twenty years and cram all of my life goals in the last year. My "bucket list":
  • Travel to all 50 states in America.
  • Visit Canada.
  • Set foot on all seven continents.
  • Go sky-diving.
  • Drink orange juice straight from the carton (I'm wild, I know!)
  • Climb Mount Everest (probably not going to happen, due to my asthma).
  • Find a special someone that completes me. (Call me!)
Also, since we know that we're going to die, our personalities would probably change as well. Obviously, if an asteroid is going to strike the Earth, you're not going to continue to be shy, and awkward around people. You're going to be willing to take risks, dance when people are watching, sing like you've never sang before, and parade the streets in your pajamas. Here are some things that I can predict will change:
  • Be less passive.
  • Talk to strangers.
  • Hug random people.
  • Say random things.
  • Not think before I speak! Wait, don't I already do that?
Then, in 2029, the Earth will die, and I will be dead at the age of thirty-four. I was planning on living until one-hundred, but I suppose thirty-four is more realistic. So, what would you do?
